Job Description

Starting pay $70.00/hr

*Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority*

ThePharmacist isresponsible for management of the pharmacy department and expected to be invested in its growth. This includes:

  • Filling and dispensing prescriptions for patients
  • Consulting patients concerning their prescription and over-the-counter needs
  • Administering Immunizations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department
  • Developing local relationships via community outreach (including community events, visiting doctor offices, participation in health fairs and offsite clinics.)
  • Providing MTM services

Job Requirements

Skills/Experience Needed:

You'll need a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and be licensed in the jurisdiction as well as a certified immunizer. If you have knowledge of the McKesson pharmacy system and/or previous retail experience, that's a plus. Strong customer service skills, PC skills, and the ability to multi-task are also important.
