Hospice Social Work Clinical Manager

JSSA Hospice is looking for a Clinical Manager to oversee the Hospice Social Work Services program by joining our talented Hospice program team.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the hospice social work program staff
* Provide overall direction and leadership to the social work team
* Manage the caseload assignments
* Provide backup caseload support when needed
* Coordinate and provide clinical supervision in accordance with regulations and requirements of the Board of Social Work examiners and state regulations to designated clinicians who are working towards the LCSW-C licensure, and/or to MSW Interns.
* Work closely with the Hospice Leadership to support all areas of the program: admissions, transitions, discharges, and more.
* Ensure effective management of clinical, administrative and supervisory functions as related to personnel and hospice policies and procedures in order to meet JSSA's mission of patient care.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in social work from an accredited program
* Current LCSW-C license in the State of Maryland
* Maryland board-approved supervisor
* Advanced certification in hospice and palliative social work preferred
* Five years post-Master's full-time experience in hospice or related social work settings with increasing clinical and supervisory responsibility
* Demonstrated customer service, organizational, and time management skills
* Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgement skills
* Highly technically proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Medical Records
* Able to work in fast paced environment
