Sigma Healthcare staffing is currently looking for CT Technologist to work onsite at our client's facility in East Liverpool, OH

Shift:  Day/Night
Job Description :
  • Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and Procedures, Reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriately prioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of critical situations. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.
  • Computed Tomography Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
  • A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
  • Generally speaking, a CT technologist should be in good health because maneuvering equipment and patients who are disabled may pose physical challenges.
  • CT scanners emit radiation, which can be harmful for the technologist and patient if proper safety procedures are not followed.
Certifications :
  • BLS (must be through American Heart Association, client or American Safety & Health Institute)
  • Primary ARRT certification required within one year of graduation from program of study.
  • ARRT is required.
  • ARRT (CT) certification is preferred.
  • OH state license is required
  • 2 years' experience current required
