Laboratory Technician - $20.00
Hours: Monday-Friday 1PM-10PM

Position Overview:

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research by assisting technical personnel in various laboratory operations and routine tasks. Under the guidance of supervisors, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to established methods and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Technical Personnel: Collaborate with technical staff to execute laboratory operations effectively. Follow instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors to carry out tasks efficiently.

Perform Laboratory Tasks: Engage in general laboratory duties such as sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and data entry. Execute assigned tasks accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Routine Laboratory Operations: Contribute to routine laboratory activities, including but not limited to, specimen handling, solution preparation, and instrument calibration. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory workspace.

Information Handling: Support the handling of laboratory information by recording data, maintaining records, and organizing documentation as required. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in data management processes.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements governing laboratory operations. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Collaborative Engagement: Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively communicating with team members and participating in team meetings or discussions. Contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
