Job Highlights

  • Pay - Hourly (OT after 40 hours)
  • Schedule - Monday thru Friday (Home Daily)
  • Start Time(s) - Midnight to 4:30 AM - Drivers are typically back by 1:00 PM
  • Average Hours - 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Stops per day - 5 to 8
  • Touch Freight - Industrial Glass
  • Deliver to Job Sites, Construction sites, and Customers
  • Type of Equipment - Flatbed w/Moffett, 48 and 53ft Dry Van
  • Dedicated Assigned Equipment

Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Handle and load/unload glass and/or metal products, secure the load, make multiple deliveries, and provide excellent customer service
  • Verify product quantities before and during delivery
  • Promote safety by inspecting delivery sites to ensure there is a safe environment to unload by following best practices for safety
  • Ensure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections

What We're Looking For

  • At least 21 years old (to cross state lines)
  • Possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence to operate the type of equipment the applicant will be driving
  • Ability to obtain a medical examiner's certificate of physical qualification
  • At least two (2) years of verifiable, incident-free CDL A driving experience
  • Is familiar with methods and procedures for securing cargo in or on the Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
  • Meet all DOT requirements
  • Skilled at handling varying road, traffic, and weather conditions

Physical Requirements

  • Must have muscular and cardiovascular endurance to perform functions required for glass handling, such as frequent bending, twisting, and reaching motions.
  • Tight gripping, cupping, and wrist motions are required to support and carry and maneuver up to 75 pounds
