Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role: Under the supervision of the OR Nurse Manager and the guidance and direction of the Charge Nurse for surgery systems, the Instrument Room Technician performs critical functions associated with instrument decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization. What Qualifications You Will Need: Prefer basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation and all aspects of sterilization processesPrefer six months to one year in a surgical or other related health care settingBasic Computer skills preferredKnowledge of the functions of decontamination and sterilization equipment preferredAbility to exchange information in a factual, objective mannerWillingness to take direction from multiple sourcesAble to be flexible with regard to task priorities and time schedules

Our Outpatient Services include a Surgery Center, Advanced Wound Care Center, Pain Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Imaging, and Rehab.
