Description

JOB SUMMARY
  • Performs venipuncture and heel stick or finger techniques. Collects specimens, provides specimen transport, and performs clerical duties. May perform courier functions, patient registration, and specimen processing and point of care testing depending on job assignment. Performs legal drug testing collection and breath alcohol testing. Trains new employees and phlebotomy students.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 6+ months of phlebotomy experience (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Phlebotomy Technician (PBT-ASCP)
