Responsible for supervision of Employee Health Services, including employee health clinic operations and occupational health services for Palomar Health (PH) employees, vendors, volunteers, students and affiliated external partners. Coordinates employee vaccination clinics, clinical testing for employment related purposes, offsite employee health operations and assists in management of infectious employee outbreaks, employee exposure related incidents and related tasks. Performs administrative activities including staffing, performance review, fiscal management/accountability, customer relations, quality monitoring/improvement, and program development/marketing. Performs revenue cycle services provided for non-PH employees. May provide customer service or Medical Assistant (MA) tasks as necessary. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, NetHealth (Agility), Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure

Preferred Education: Not Applicable

Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years as Medical Assistant

Preferred Experience: 2+ years of occupational health supervisory experience , Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Required License: Valid Driver's License

Preferred License: Current CA Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN).

Required Certification: Current CA Medical Assistant Certification and American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
