Responsibilities

* Responsible for operating all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently.
* Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.
* Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
* Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid.
* Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
* Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan.
* Evaluate MR images for technical quality, exposure, and transmit to PACS.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

* Technical or Associate's radiography degree
* Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
* If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment


* Active BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements

* 1-year of MRI Tech experience
* Advanced certification in MRI
