QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of 1-3 years experience in the transportation field.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Demonstrate professional attitude.
4. Computer knowledge.
5. Familiarity with the Deptford area is preferred.
6. Attend Management Training

REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor

JOB GOAL: To carry out all secretarial and clerical duties necessary for the smooth efficient operations of the office.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide coverage of office and garage office on a schedule to be determined in concert with the Transportation Supervisor.
2. Confers and consults with the Transportation Supervisor in response to transportation related inquiries.
3. Maintain required records for all areas of responsibility as directed by Transportation Supervisor.
4. Coordinate the daily scheduling of run coverage resulting from unavailability or lack of required staff; roadway and vehicle emergencies; pupil health/safety emergencies; weather conditions; changes in length of the school day; and special events.
5. Computer entry of all approved athletic, educational and field trips.
6. Coordinate the scheduling and assignment of all approved Athletic, Educational and field trips to drivers and the follow-up.
7. Maintain radio contact with drivers via two-way radio
8. Answer phones when needed.
9. Assist with the State Report.
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.
11. Performs all secretarial work as assigned by the Transportation or Assistant Transportation Supervisors.
12. Performs usual office routines
13. Any other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-certified staff.
