The MRI Technologist performs quality images per physician's orders while providing excellent care to patients.

Part-time role, Flexible Day Monday - Friday hours 2-8pm or 4- 8pm with possibility of working some weekend hours out of our Burnsville location if desired.

A $3,500.00 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:

* Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
* Inform and prepare patients for procedures
* Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
* Prepare, clean, and stock work area with supplies
* Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
* Maintain the necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequencies
* Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients to ensure patient is able to tolerate MRI exam comfortably
* Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

* Graduate of an ARRT approved program
* ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in a MRI department required

Essential Requirements:

Ability to:

* Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
* Complete job required training.
* Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
* Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
* Work in the clinic during business hours
* Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
* Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
* Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
* Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
* Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
* Understand and execute a variety of instructions
* Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
* Work independently with minimal supervision
* Travel to other work locations, if required
