SUMMARY

Assists managers in the banquet department anticipating guest demands and organizes resources to exceed guest expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Oversees banquet functions including Pine Room & Zoo banquets.

Ensure quality banquet set-up.

Attend BEO meetings.

Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Ensure proper control procedures are being followed.

Maintain a level of service that exceeds guest expectations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Banquet Captain directly supervises to the extent of assigning and monitoring daily tasks of 11-25 employees in the Food & Beverage Banquet Department. Refers issues relating to organization's policy to the Assistant Manager and/or Manager of the department.
