Job Title: Softball Supervisor

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Softball Supervisor to oversee and manage operations at Robert Crown and James Park for Wednesday and Sunday night Adult Softball League. The ideal candidate will be passionate about recreational sports, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be committed to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for participants.

Responsibilities:

* Facility Management:
* Ensure the proper setup and maintenance of softball fields, equipment, and facilities.
* Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure the facilities are in optimal condition.


* Game Day Operations:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for teams, players, and umpires on game days.
* Oversee the check-in process, ensuring all teams and players adhere to league rules and guidelines.
* Facilitate pre-game meetings and communicate any important announcements.


* Umpire Coordination:
* Provide guidance and support to umpires during games.
* Address any disputes or conflicts with professionalism and fairness.


* Rules Enforcement:
* Ensure that all games are played in accordance with league rules and regulations.
* Address rule violations promptly and fairly, maintaining a positive and sportsmanlike atmosphere.


* Participant Engagement:
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
* Address participant inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.


* Communication:
* Communicate regularly with league organizers, teams, and participants to provide updates and information.
* Distribute schedules, standings, and other relevant information in a clear and timely manner.



Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge of softball rules and regulations.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to handle conflict resolution with diplomacy.
* Availability to work evenings and weekends during the softball season.
