Pay range starts $18 / hour with increased rates for experience and education

Children with Autism have a variety of developmental, learning, physical and emotional needs. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to achieve the following:

* Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills
* Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise and nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness
* Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as: hygiene, grooming and/or toileting
* Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities
* Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors

Qualifications for a Behavior Technician:

* Must be minimum of 18 years of age
* A compassionate approach with a reliable and responsible attitude
* An ability to connect with children with an ability to work with others to accomplish goals
* Experience in human services preferred but not mandatory
* Successful clearance of background checks
