Job Summary

This position will work within the teacher calendar for a total of 75 days for the 2024/25 school year. Most weeks this position will work Monday and Wednesdays (except April 2025, Mon/Weds/Fri). *Work schedule is subject to change at anytime at the District's discretion.

To apply for the position of School Psychologist you must meet the minimum requirement below AND satisfy the basic skills requirement (e.g. CBEST or CSET Writing Skills or CSU Early Assessment Program or Qualifying Score on the SAT/ACT or College Board Advanced Placement or passage of Basic Skills from Another State or Requirement by Coursework): -Valid CA Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology

In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:

* Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts will be required upon employment)
* Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC [must show authorization] OR Verification Letter from the University stating program completion date)
* Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. David Appling)
* Letter(s) of Recommendation (Signed Letters Required - No more than 3)
* Resume
* Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR)

SALARY -Salary is dependent upon Degree(s), number of semester units beyond a Bachelor's Degree, CA Credential, and previous experience; -Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD; -Additional salary steps can be credited for experience for each full year of hospital, clinical and/or school experience while possessing the required credential and/or license; -Full-time Psychologists shall receive an annual stipend of $5,408. Psychologists working less than full-time shall receive a prorated share of the stipend. -Certificated staff are paid monthly on an 11-month pay schedule (August-June) WORK YEAR -Start date is August 20, 2024.
