Description

The Rad/CT Technologist, under the supervision of the Director of Medical Imaging, is primarily responsible for acting as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient. The technologist practices technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories consistent for which they were designed, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately. He or she is able to perform expected responsibilities of the position with knowledge and competence. Demonstrates support for the mission/vision of the organization.

PRN (as needed)

Graduate of an approved A.M.A. school of Radiological Technology.
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
  • Twenty-four hours of continuing education every 2 years (at license renewal).
  • Certified A.R.R.T.
  • Current CPR with AED required.
  • Experience in CT preferred
  • One - two years of Radiography, Venipuncture, and computer experience preferred.
