Position Summary:

: Position is responsible for all hospital HVAC-R related equipment and is the lead for the BAS

Position Qualifications:

* Minimum Education:
* High School Diploma - College training in commercial HVAC-R preferred


* Qualifications and Experience:
* High School graduate or GED required.
* Courses in refrigeration, electrical controls, blueprint reading, mathematics; engineering-related physics preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience required in commercial HVAC/refrigeration service.
* Basic computer operations required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
* Able to fluently speak, write and read English.


* License, Certification, Registration:
* EPA Cert is required
* Current unrestricted Alaska Drivers License


* Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
* Boilers, chillers, commercial water heater, commercial refrigeration, commercial air conditioning and heating systems


* Supervisory Responsibilities : NA
