Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to join our Human Resources team. The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely disbursement of payments to employees. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of payroll procedures and policies.

General Responsibilities:

* Manage overall payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and time for all employees.
* Review and approve payroll data for completeness and accuracy before finalizing the payroll run.
* Conduct audits of payroll data and quarterly 941 tax reporting, ensuring accuracy.
* Facilitate investigation of data discrepancies/errors and resolve in a timely manner.
* Stay abreast of changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance in payroll processing.
* Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and local laws, as well as company policies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Accounting to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions.
* Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights into payroll trends, costs, and discrepancies.
* Oversee the maintenance of payroll software, ensuring it aligns with current payroll regulations and internal policies.
* Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal and external stakeholders as required.
* Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries, issues, and policies.
* Coach, mentor, and develop payroll team members, fostering a collaborative, efficient and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 10+ years of experience in Payroll
* Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within the oil and gas industry
* In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and tax laws
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
