Job Overview:

Newark Beth Israel is looking for a new Pulmonary Director overseeing Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Master's degree in nursing or a health related field
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in nursing including at least 5 years in a management role,
* Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration and build strong relationships
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
* Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving patient outcomes

Preferred:

* Doctorate Preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

* Days to work,
* Full-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

* The Pulmonary Director will oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of clinical services for the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, encompassing lung failure, transplant patients, general pulmonary outpatient visits, satellite clinics, and ambulatory services.
* The manager will be responsible in overseeing and managing a team of clinical professionals, including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and medical assistants, in collaboration with physician leadership while ensuring the efficient an effective delivery of high quality patient care across all pulmonary service lines.
* The Director will be responsible for spearheading quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care delivery.
