RUN Studios has a part-time opportunity for a technically savvy, solution-oriented individual. We are seeking a driven GrandMA Operator to assist our client, a leader in the video production industry located in the Redmond area.

Video production is an integral part of our client's marketing and communication strategy, and you will be front and center in supporting those productions. Working with the larger production team you will be working with a Lighting Director or Gaffer to create scenes needed to cultivate top-tier looks that enhance every production.

The work will be half day or full day, on an as-needed basis. Hours will fluctuate based on project needs. Must be available to work on site in Redmond, WA.

As a GrandMA Operator, You Will

* Collaborate with the Director, Producer, Sound Designer, and /or client to understand the visual requirements of each production.
* Be responsible for the successful operation of all lighting equipment and adjustments.
* Ensure all fixtures and equipment are working and programmed properly.
* Adjust program cues and make changes to lighting looks, as needed.
* Follow the run-of-show document to ensure smooth show flow.
* Conduct rehearsals, with talent and the production team, making necessary adjustments to equipment setup and cue sheets.
* Take direction from the stage manager or show caller to ensure all cues are executed as intended.
* Give suggestions and advice on lighting changes, when appropriate.
* Perform checks before every performance to guarantee optimal quality.
* Check rigging and connection of additional equipment, when necessary.

As an Applicant, You Bring

* Experience in live corporate events and video production settings, working with high profile talent.
* Deep knowledge and troubleshooting abilities with DMX and other protocols.
* Extensive experience with various lighting tools (Fixtures, rigging, dimmers, etc.)
* Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology, including but not limited to grandMA3 Consoles, MA2 and MA3 software, Martin MAC; Ultra, Encore, Aura XB fixtures, ARRI Skypanel LED lights, Astera Titan/Helios Tubes, and Chroma-Q ColorForce II.
* Excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem.
* Excellent communication skills.

Compensation

Pay Range: $40.00 - 50.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidate's starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
