Overview

Headquartered in Hilliard, Ohio, we are a multi-billion dollar stormwater management company, manufacturing pipe and ancillary products. What does that mean? When it storms, we capture rain with our drain basins, convey it with pipe, store it using chambers and finally treat it with our water quality products, before safely returning water back to the environment. We handle, what we call, the entire lifecycle of a raindrop. Our products help prevent flooding, which increases quality of life for people living in large cities, suburbs, and rural towns. We also believe in creating a circular economy and are the largest plastic recycling company in North America. We use plastic shampoo and detergent bottles to create pipe, diverting over 500 million pounds of plastic from landfills every year. ADS operates a global network of over 60 manufacturing plants and 30 distribution centers.

Responsibilities
Summary:
Performs task as required within the machine tool operation for the purpose of servicing, repairing, and/or rebuilding production machinery and tooling.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Possesses the willingness to learn and perform an array of different tasks within the machine tool operation to help complete projects on time.o Work alongside experienced machine repair specialist learning the equipment and craft.o Clean and prep equipment for repair/rebuild and prepare and clean parts/equipment for paint.o Perform task and errands as needed to keep projects on time.o Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:o A mechanical understanding on how things work and are put together.o Familiarity of measuring devices.o Strong systematic problem-solving skills.o Understand purpose and proper use of small hand and power tools.o Experience working in a manufacturing environment.o Excellent interpersonal skills.o Excellent organizational and time managementskills.o Self-motivated to bring projects in on-time and within budget.
Educational Requirements:
o High School or Vocational School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience:o Able to use measuring devices.o Welding experience.o Simple electrical circuit.o Experience operating forklifts and cranes.o Experience or knowledge of qualityprocedures, tools and documents.
Physical Requirements:
o Lift and move items weighing 75 pounds or more at timeso Perform work, for extended periods of timein extreme hot or cold work environmentso Specific shifts may require standing or being mobile for minimum of 8 hou
