InSight EyeCare is located in Michigan's picturesque Upper Peninsula and specifically on the Keweenaw Peninsula in the village of Calumet. Sandy beaches, spectacular views, and endless, four season activities are just a few assets for residents to embrace. The historic village of Calumet is also part of the Keweenaw National Historical Park, established for the recognition and preservation of the copper mining history of the area. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy world-class single-track biking trails, miles of waterways for boating, sailing, and water skiing, and the region's best downhill, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The Keweewnaw Peninsula is a Michigan destination and also a departure point for Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior making it a wonderful place to practice and live.

About InSight EyeCare
InSight EyeCare was established in 1990 and moved to its current, upgraded location in 2013. The practice is dedicated to serving each patient's unique and individual needs while providing the utmost quality of care with advanced technology to ensure life-long eye health and vision care. The Optometrists take a patient-centric approach to eye care, specializing in comprehensive care, low vision, and medical optometry. The practice comprises two doctors and a well-trained support staff of eight. As the patient schedule is booked several months in advance, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the team.
InSight EyeCare utilizes state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated ophthalmic equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology with Zeiss FORUM image and data systems. Data collection begins with the Marco Epic refraction station and wavefront analysis. Additionally, a Zeiss OCT-A 6000 is available for anterior section imaging, posterior imaging with OCT angiography capability. Retinal photography is obtained with the Zeiss Claris 500 retinal camera and visual field analysis can be performed with Zeiss FDT or our Zeiss Visual Field Analyser 860. Electro-diagnostics are performed with a Diopsis ERG/VEP instrument; Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) performed with DGH Technologies and slit lamp assessments with Haag Streit Slit Lamps with wheel chair capable refraction and biomicroscopy. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop the latest eyewear styles from the optical dispensary while the Opticians provide personalized support to help patients select the proper frames tailored to medical needs and fashion preferences.
About the Optometrist Opening
InSight EyeCare is seeking an Optometrist interested in providing the highest level of personalized care to ensure optimal eye health. You'll perform comprehensive patient care, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education. On average, 15 to 22 patients are cared for daily per doctor. The position is full-time, offering 32 to 40 hours weekly. This is a unique opportunity to care for various patients and conditions while working with other experts in a supportive environment. For the right Optometrist, a future partnership opportunity may be available.
The ideal candidate would be compassionate with patients, interested in continuing education and development of skills and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications include:
* License to practice optometry in Michigan
