We are hiring a full-time Mental Health Support Advisor. As a Recovery Support Advisor, you will be working with clients helping them along their recovery journey. This position does require a minimum of 12 semester hours of college experience in a mental health related field or six months of formal training in a mental health field. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a mental health field.
The LTSR operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, however; our Residential Support Advisors have a flexible work schedule meeting 40 hours per week. Typical shifts can be 8 to 10 hours and do include morning, evenings, and weekend hours. Some overnights may be required.
The primary schedule for this position will be overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The LTSR is a long-term structured residential program for those who require extended mental health care beyond the hospital setting. The services at the LTSR allow clients to transition back into the community with the support and skills necessary to be successful in their recovery journey.
The program offers a safe and structured environment with 24-hour supervision from qualified staff who have the skills and background necessary to meet your diverse needs. The Mental Health Residential Support Advisor is a direct care position that will provide and ensure a comfortable, safe, secure, supportive, and therapeutic environment for the residents of Crossroads LTSR while also promoting and implementing the principles of mental health recovery in a trauma informed manner.

Qualifications
Candidates who have a high school diploma must have at least two years of experience in a public or private human services field with one year of direct mental health direct care experience.
Preferred Candidates will have at least 12 semester credits or a bachelor's degree in human services field. Candidates who meet these guidelines will have the opportunity to train with our call service crisis team and earn and additional hourly wage.
PA State Clearance, FBI Clearance, and Child Abuse Clearance are required for this position.
Employes will be operating CRCSI vehicles, a valid driving license and acceptable driving record are required for the position.
