Overview

Sleep Laboratory Technician

Part Time; FTE 0.6

12 hour shift; 8pm-8am with flexible dates and weekend availability required

Muscatine, IA

Performs Non-invasive neurological patient testing as ordered by physicians. Testing is conducted in accordance with standards of practice as defined by UnityPoint Health Des Moines and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. Consistently utilizing a holistic approach (considering physical, psycho/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria) appropriate for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients served in the assigned service area.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required. Comply with all the netlearning, classes, and certifications required for the job. Completion of an accredited END program or currently enrolled

License(s)/Certification(s):

Polysomnography technologist with RPSGT, or RRT-SDS, Iowa State licensure in Polysomnography, supervisory experience, or bachelor's degree preferred but not required

* Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Registry eligible or in-process, preferred.

Registry within 2 years of hire.
