GSRP Assistant
Pumpkin Patch/Buffey Elementary School

up to 35 Hours/Week - Student Days - $14.00-$16.50/hour dependent upon qualifications
Employment dependent upon grant funding and guidelines

  • Prefer to have obtained or willingness to obtain a CDA or Associate in Early Childhood
  • Follow LARA licensing guidelines for childcare centers
  • Previous knowledge in state licensing, TS Gold (Smart Teach), Creative Curriculum, High Scope, etc. preferred
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding all students
  • Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of this position
  • Participate in training pertinent to the assigned position
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is required
  • Passionate about the education of young students
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge
  • Evidence of good interpersonal skills with colleagues
  • Committed to the importance of the student's educational growth and development
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work effectively with parents and staff
  • Provide a list of work and personal references
  • Must successfully complete a thorough background check, including LARA and LiveScan Criminal Records Check
