Responsibilities

* The Specialty Technician must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients served in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Unit; as delegated by and under the supervision of the licensed staff.
* The Specialty Tech will be responsible for activities of patient care which involves specialty training in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
* He/She is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice (cross trained and cross competent to cover more than one hospital service, role, or function).
* Basic Life Support
