Springboard Automation is growing and on the hunt for our next residential Lutron and A/V systems programmer, for national VIP projects.

As a National Lutron and A/V Programmer for VIP Projects, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering exceptional service and expertise to our high-end clientele. This role requires a passionate individual who embodies our core values and is eager to take on challenges with a positive attitude. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced Lutron and A/V systems across various prestigious locations nationwide.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is both technology savvy and handy with a hammer. As a perk, this person will embrace travel to diverse and interesting locations nationwide. In other words, this person will not only work in Philadelphia where our primary office is located, but will frequently work in the most prestigious homes of Manhattan, The NJ Shore, Miami, and beyond.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years industry-specific experience of programming, designing, and/or installing lighting controls, A/V equipment, TVs, speakers, networking equipment, and motorized shades
  • Basic understanding of low-voltage wiring, A/V wiring, cabling
  • Excited to travel to and work in diverse and interesting job sites nationwide
  • Proven experience in programming Lutron and A/V systems
  • Basic carpentry and general handyperson skills required
  • A strong desire to delight our clients and provide the very best customer service
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Savant, Sonos, Wifi networks a plus
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb a 12-foot ladder, and perform manual work
  • Available to work 1 weekend per month
  • Drivers license is required

Day-to-Day Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Program and install home automation systems
  • Design solutions for clients’ needs
  • Work with sales person when needed to develop solutions
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
  • Clean job sites upon work completion
  • Represent Springboard Automation on job sites
