Data Entry Specialist

Description:

+ Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using a keyboard, or scanner

+ Type in data provided from hard copy documents to be converted to electronic documents

+ Verify data by comparing it to source documents

+ Update existing data

+ Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

+ Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

+ Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Data entry experience

+ Fast typing skills

+ Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)

+ Working knowledge of office equipment

+ Communication both oral and written and customer service skills

+ Great attention to detail

Shifts:

+ 1st shift : $18.00/hr Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm

+ 2nd shift : $19.80/hr Monday - Friday 3pm to 11pm

+ 3rd shift : $20.70/hr Sunday - Thursday 11pm to 7am
