Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

* Prepares correspondence, course materials, reports, and other documents using a PC.
* Maintains departmental files and maintains databases using MS Excel.
* Takes minutes at meetings and prepares for final distribution.
* Answers questions concerning departmental policies and procedures.
* Maintains supervisor's calendar.
* Makes travel arrangements and prepares travel reimbursement forms.
* Utilizes the Banner Finance and Student Records Systems to access department and student information.
* Assists in the student advising process to include notifying students via email of upcoming advising dates.
* Advises students regarding enrollment policies and procedures.
* Greets and routes visitors.
* Answers telephone and directs calls.
* Opens and distributes mail.
* Orders equipment and supplies.
* Prepares requisitions and purchase orders.
* Regular and prompt attendance.
* Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
* Related duties as required.
