Purpose:

Safely operate vehicles to transport parts, small equipment, supplies, and paperwork for the dealership.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport parts, small equipment, and supplies between dealer facilities; may also deliver to customers.
  • Maintains records of pickup and deliveries as directed by TRULAND and obtains any necessary signatures and receipts.
  • Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy as requested by TRULAND
  • Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
  • Maintain a regular inspection of the assigned equipment and immediately report anything on the equipment in need of repair.
  • Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • 3+ years' experience as delivery driver or similar experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CDL Class driver's license required. (Class A preferred, Class B acceptable)
  • Driving record that meets insurance company parameters.
  • Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the team member is required to talk and hear. The team member is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

This position will require the individual to work in an office environment, in a vehicle repair facility, and in the field.

In this position, the team member will be exposed to engine and grinding noise.
