Powersports/Motorcycle Technician

Requirements of the Motorcycle/Powersports Technician/Mechanic:

* Must have a valid driver license with motorcycle validation and have a clear driving record.
* Must maintain a motorcycle inspection certification.
* Formal training program such as MMI Service School or equivalent work experience preferred.
* Basic and special tools knowledge to properly diagnose and service our products.
* Ability to effectively perform repairs properly in a timely manner.

Responsibilities for Motorcycle/Powersports Technician:

* Diagnosis, adjustment and repair of motorcycles, ATV's, scooters, mopeds, dirt bikes, lawnmowers, snowblowers, generators, tillers and trimmers.
* Perform set up and pre-delivery inspection.
* Perform Pennsylvania State Inspections as required and complete appropriate documentation.
* Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known.
* Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance with factory standards.
* Complete quality repair work within the outlined time period.
* Notify management of work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customers may be contacted and notified.
* Communicate with service advisor, and document repair work appropriately.
* Test riding to ensure repair is complete and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain knowledge base through training and industry readings.
* Keep work area clean and stay professional.
