Job Details

Responsibilities:

* Experience performing Electroencephalogram (EEG) and evoked potential studies.
* Recognition of ictal and inter-ictal electrographic patterns.
* Ability to manage clinical seizure and/or other medical emergencies as required.
* Prepares patient for procedures as appropriate to requirements; explains procedures to patients and positions patients as appropriate to prescribed procedure; assists patients at end of procedure.
* May take mobile unit to patient's room or other setting to perform procedures, as appropriate to the operational context of the specific position.
* Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

Requirements:

* High School diploma or equivalent required;
* Completion of a certified END program,
* Knowledge in all phases of EEG testing, long-term monitoring and neuro ICU experience also required.
* Board Certified ABRET or Registry eligible preferred
* At least 3 year's experience in a hospital setting, performing routine and complex EEG's.
* Proficient with Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric patients

Salary Range

USD $30.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
