Assembly/Installation Associate

Sportsman Boats is looking for assembly technicians in our capping, consoles, T-top, or outboard motor areas. Must be experienced with both basic hand tools and enjoy working with your hands, building and putting equipment together.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
+ Assemble and install equipment meeting high quality standards and daily production numbers
+ Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, other hardware to specification
+ Use basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.)
+ Build T-tops and consoles
+ Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
+ Follow safety procedures
+ Maintain area tools and equipment
+ Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules
+ Able to read and understand units of measure
+ Physically able to climb in and out of boats
+ Be challenged and have fun along the way
What you'll know or have done:
+ Experience with air, hand, and power tools
+ Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, or carpentry
