GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Laboratory Aide.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position purpose

The Laboratory Aid is responsible for assisting staff with answering telephone calls, daily maintenance and data entry and filing.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Document scanning
* Data collection
* Specimen receiving
* Data entry
* File slides, block and paperwork in alpha-numeric order
* Equipment quality control
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: One (1) year experience in laboratory setting preferred.

* Ability to function in a fast-paced environment while under substantial time pressures and still maintain quality patient care
* Proficient technical (computer) skills.

* Strong sense of ethics.
