**Compensation and Schedule for the Cardiothoracic Coder**

Cardiothoracic Coder - Contract, remote, $35 per hour, Monday - Friday, start-time at 7:00am or 8:00am MST. Join a fast-paced and positive work environment

**Required Qualifications of the Cardiothoracic Coder**

- 5+ years of recent E/M coding experience required

- 2+ years of recent cardiothoracic coding experience required

- Must work in Arizona time zone hours

- CPC certification required

- High school diploma or GED required

- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

**Responsibilities of the Cardiothoracic Coder**

- Assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to medical records and accounts

- Complete coding for all accounts on a timely basis

- Follow up on all accounts
