Fleet Maintenance Clerk

This position is responsible for completing data entry for Fleet maintenance, transportation, and refrigeration

equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Input and provide purchase order information to vendors and fleet mechanics.
* Maintain data in the fleet software consistent with policies and procedures.
* Provide information to corporate fleet personnel when necessary.
* Track transferred units, mileage, fuel, parts, etc.
* Maintain transportation billing for Hiland internal transportation.
* Maintain database for refrigeration equipment.
* Provide information and paperwork for the shipping and receiving of refrigeration equipment.
* Order and maintain all fuel inventories.
* Schedule Heavy Highway Vehicles and Maintenance, responsible for all tags and registrations.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) with anyone they come in contact with during the course of their workday.
* Intermediate Excel user.
* Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively.
* Minimum age: 18
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Education:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or Two years of related experience and training.

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demand/Working Conditions:

* Will be required to sit and stand for long periods of time. Will be required to lift and move large amounts of paperwork (boxes of files).
* Will be required to stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data.
* Must be able to work in both very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (less than 20 degrees below zero) and in a very wet and humid environment for extended periods of time. Exposed to noise/vibration, and chemicals.
* Repetition-Hand/Wrist Simple Grasping, Firm grasping.
