EEG Technician, Neurodiagnostic Technician

Job Overview:
The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician.
Qualifications:
Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Board registration within one (1) year from date of hire required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Preferred:
* Prior EEG Technician experience strongly preferred.
Essential Functions:
* The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician.
* As part of the testing process, an EEG Technician will gather a patient's medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure.
* During testing, the EEG Technician monitors the patient's status and notes any abnormalities.
* After testing is complete, the EEG Technician reports their findings to the patient's doctor for further analysis.
