Preschool Teacher/Counselor

JCC Camp Ruach is committed to creating a positive, meaningful, inclusive adn FUN summer for campers and staff. Staff learn invaluable skills that are immediately transferable to all other aspects of their personal and professional life.

Camp Dates: June 24 - August 16, 2024 (Closed July 4)

Camp Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities of Preschool Teacher/Counselor:

* Oversee a group of 15 preschool age campers to ensure their safety, well-being, and active participation in all aspects of our camp program
* Create safe, loving, inclusive camp environment
* Participate in all activities alongside campers, including sports, arts, swim, and more
* Positively collaborate and work alongside other camp staff
* Have fun smiling and playing with campers
* Serve as a role model to campers and co-counselors

Qualifications of Preschool Teacher/Counselor:

* At least 21 years old or older
* Experience in classroom or home setting with preschool age children
* Personal interestin and passion for working with our youngest campers
* Hard working and team player
* Enjoys having fun, being active, and being outdoors

* Compensation of $4,000.00 inclusive of all summer responsibilities for a full-time preschool teacher/counselor
