Job Overview The Clinical Quality Analyst is responsible for the collection, improvement, reporting, and accuracy of data collected for publicly reported quality indicators, registries, internal improvement projects, and other key quality indicators. The Clinical Quality Analyst must be self-motivated and able to prioritize a variety of duties to meet deadlines.# This position requires a high degree of diplomacy and tact as they will be interacting with people at all organizational levels within the hospital and outside organizations as well. A high level of factual dependability and accuracy will be required to be successful in this role. Job Duties# Coordinate all activities associated with clinical quality measurement for core measures, registries and/or clinical quality indicators including; chart review, data abstraction, reports, committees and improvement team participation. Accurately abstract and submit data according to criteria set forth by registry, regulatory,accrediting agencies, payers, professional organizations, registries and/or medical staff. Actively seek ways to improve clinical quality data and participate in committee meetings, department meetings, and work groups etc.# to educate and improve quality outcomes.# Education and Experience Bachelor#s degree in Nursing or other health-care related field or plan in place for completion with at least five (5) years of related clinical experience. Hospital experience with quality assessment and/or quality improvement experience will be considered in lieu of the educational requirements. Previous quality assessment and/or quality improvement experience desired. White Belt Certification within one year of hire # Training provided by the hospital. Job Overview

Job Duties
