Seasonal Summer Worker

The Facilities Management Office is seeking summer seasonal workers (May - August) in a variety of different positions. All seasonal positions are paid at $14/hour.

Required Qualifications:

* All applicants must be at least 16 years of age, a work permit is required.

Open positions include:

* General Cleaning

Under supervision, the individual performs custodial and light maintenance duties including:

* Dusting
* Vacuuming
* General cleaning
* Restocking supplies


* Maintenance Worker

Under supervision, the individual performs maintenance duties including:

* Light building maintenance tasks
* Painting
* Changing filters in equipment
* Moving furniture


* Grounds Crew

Under supervision, the individual performs grounds duties including:

* Weed eating
* Push mowing
* Raking leaves, Leaf pick-up
* Trash pick-up
* Moving furniture


* Fire Boss
* Attend scheduled Bonfires (typically evenings)
* Chop wood for the fire
* Light Bonfire
* Remain close by to maintain fire and monitor for safety
* Put the fire out at the end of the event
* Office Worker
* Data Entry
* Answering phones
* Typing
* Filing, organization
* Various uses of copy machine
