As a senior customer advisor, specializing in Renewable Energy Asset Management Systems, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling cutting-edge asset management solutions to the rapidly growing solar energy sector.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy industry, providing them with technical expertise and advisory services to maximize the performance and efficiency of their renewable/solar assets by using TGS Prediktor's solutions. The role will be an essential contributor in terms of providing an understanding how TGS Prediktor's offerings can bring business value to new and existing clients.
You will work closely with new prospects and existing clients, and you thrive at using your subject matter expertise in new sales processes, up-sales, assessment studies, advisory processes etc.
In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the US Business Development Manager to execute sales strategies, drive business growth, and ensure a coordinated approach to the renewable energy market.
Description of tasks and responsibilities:

Customer Advisory and Relationship Building

Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, such as O&M managers, asset managers, analysts, IT/OT etc.

Understand customer's needs and challenges, providing technical consultation and solutions tailored to their specific requirements.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

Conduct assessment studies / provide advisory services with existing customers and new prospects

Technical Expertise / Subject Matter Expert

Stay knowledgeable about the technical aspects of renewable energy asset management systems (specifically solar PV), including data analytics, monitoring, workflow and predictive maintenance.

Act as a technical resource for customers, addressing their inquiries and providing solutions to technical challenges.

Preparing technical proposals for sales prospects.

Product Presentation and Demonstrations

Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and technical capabilities of the asset management systems to potential clients.

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting how our solutions can enhance the performance and ROI of solar assets.

Participation in industry conferences, tradeshows, industry events etc., communicating our core value proposition.

Market Research and Communication

Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within the renewable energy sector, specifically in solar energy.

Identify and assess potential customers, market segments, and opportunities for asset management system sales.

Desired profile and skill set:
  • University/College degree in a relevant technical field, such as engineering, renewable energy, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Deep understanding of the market domain and core product and market category (Asset management solutions for solar PV), but also adjacent asset categories (wind, battery, hydro power, Power-to-X, etc)
  • Background from renewable asset management and/or O&M activities; from either a user's side, system provider's side or with background from relevant consultancy business.
  • Client focus, empathic, understand the client's needs and the client value of Prediktor's offerings and the ability to clearly communicate this.
  • Strong technical knowledge within the product category - Renewable Asset Management
  • Ability to communicate on all levels in client's organization with technical experts at client.
  • Commercial mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Working environment:
  • Ideal work location is Houston, Texas
  • Travels will be required as necessary to sufficiently follow up on prospects, 30% travel time should be expected.
  • Team collaboration with corporate sales and marketing team product management and operations
