PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To provide preventive maintenance and emergency service of refrigeration equipment in the CN Dept. and to facilitate planning and coordination of the installation of refrigeration equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • High School diploma
  • Associates Degree or Certificate in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration or similar area of study preferred.
  • EPA - CFC Type II (or higher) certification. Have an acceptable driving record that meets the standards developed by the Department of Public Safety and the Texas Education Agency (10 point system).

Special Knowledge/Skills
  • Have the ability to get along and work with people.
  • Be able to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to communicate and work successfully with Child Nutrition personnel at various locations.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration equipment.

CALENDAR: 250 Work Calendar

SALARY:

Minimum: $19.41/ hour
