Job Summary

Part Time, Night Shift Position

Hours: 11PM-7:30AM; Rotating Weekends & Holidays

* Responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens.
* Performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures.
* Understands method principles.
* Performs quality control and preventive maintenance.
* Interprets results accurately, acceptably and within critical limits.
* Works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.
* Validates all data obtained.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science - OR - Bachelor's in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program - OR - MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

Experience

* Clinical Laboratory Science Experience Required

Certification and Licensure

* ASCP or AMT eligible

Required Skills

* Computer Skills to include use and navigation
* Excellent Communications Skills
* Multitasking
