Take advantage of our tuition assistance and scholarship programs to grow both personally and professionally.# Director of Virtual Care Position Summary# #The Director of Virtual Care is responsible for the clinical optimization of the electronic medical record as a key organizational initiative; is responsible for improving bedside provider efficiency by redesign of the clinical workflow, standardizing content to improve safety and increase compliance with regulatory requirements, align policies and procedures with best practice and ongoing education and training to support clinicians integration of all applications of the electronic medical record.# The Director of Virtual Care is also responsible for operational oversight of some virtual care areas.# # Accountable to the VP of Patient Care Services CNE, with a strong connection to the CMO/CMIO, to lead the division in the development and implementation of an IT strategy that supports clinical practice, nursing and clinical decision making and is aligned with state and federal based vision for nursing and IT. The director is responsible for providing strategic leadership, consultation and operational oversight on electronic technology and information management as well as providing leadership to Shared Leadership forums and projects throughout the medical center.# Director of Virtual Care Position Requirements## Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.# Master#s degree in Nursing, or other related field preferred.# Licensed and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, as applicable.# A minimum of five years in appropriate field with at least two years of management experience. Experience and educational preparation should include knowledge of theories of management, human resources management, statistics and research methodologies, educational methodologies, and staffing. Director of Virtual Care Position Summary
