The individual will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quartz slabs in a safe and efficient manner. Being a main point of contact with the customers, great customer service skills are also required. Other duties would be assisting material handlers to load orders on truck and ensuring truck is in optimal running condition. The successful candidate will be required to train and familiarize themselves in the Warehouse Operation prior to route/truck assignment.

Summary:

* Conduct routine shipping, receiving, and delivery tasks to support the Caesarstone Warehouse Department and individual branches.
* Primary Responsibilities:
* Execute various Warehouse Department operations including slab movement, yard organization, and maintenance.
* Drive company truck for delivery of quartz slabs, optimizing routes for efficiency.
* Collect documentation for ordered materials, deliveries, and COD transactions for scheduled deliveries.
* Utilize forklift when necessary to assist in yard operations.
* Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance, reporting defects or repairs to supervisor.
* Aid in installing and maintaining traffic control devices.
* Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
* Direct traffic at work sites when required.

Requirements

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Minimum one year of relevant experience or equivalent education.
* CDL Class B License required, with availability for 2 to 3 days on the road.
* Familiarity with traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
* Proficiency in operating tools and equipment.
* Ability to safely operate various vehicles.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Capacity to work independently.
* Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in diverse weather conditions.
* Ability to make moderate impact judgments independently.

Working Conditions:

Work primarily in warehouse and distribution center environments. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Valid Driver's License, for Short Form Trucks, and Valid CDL Class B.
* One (1) year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
* Knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
* Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.
* Must have excellent safety and compliance record
* Must have excellent driving skills
* Flexibility to accommodate different start times
* Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
* Able to work with tight deadlines in a multi-task, high priority environment
* Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
* Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* May be required for driving for many hours at a stretch (within employment standards limitations), including unloading cargo, and making many deliveries.
* Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors
* Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
* Overtime as required with possible weekend work as required
* Exposure to variable weather conditions is likely
* Ability to lift 100 pounds; ability to regularly preform physical movements:
* Sitting - long and regular driving hours
* Handling/gripping - Handle tools and equipment; grip steering wheel and levers
* Climbing up and down stairs/ladders - Climb into cab; Climb onto vehicle to inspect load
* Stooping - Occasional stooping during pre- and post-trip inspections and when accessing under vehicle to perform low-inspections
* Crouching - During pre- and post-trip inspections to access under vehicle, perform low-inspections
* Push/Pull - push and pull safety straps to secure load on vehicle
