As an Optician/Optical Technician with us, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses. Your responsibilities will include interpreting prescriptions, guiding customers in frame and lens selections, ensuring proper frame adjustments for optimal fit, skillfully fitting lenses into frames, educating patients on eyewear usage and care, managing administrative tasks, and efficiently handling repairs and maintenance.

Additional Responsibilities involve overseeing a dynamic front office environment, effectively managing multiple tasks, operating dual monitors proficiently, and utilizing computer skills to efficiently handle administrative duties.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
• Friendly and engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer operations, including working with dual monitors, Microsoft Word, Excel, and typing skills.

Office Hours are as follows:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Thursday: Closed
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
