Shift: Maroon Shift - 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Sunday - Tuesday + available overtime

Summary of duties:

* Sets up, programs and operates brake presses in accordance with outlined methods and procedures to safely and properly form various parts.
* Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
* Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.
* Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine.
* Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
* Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
* Adjusts on machine and programs as required.
* Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece.
* Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
* Stacks, marks, labels and transports finished work pieces.
* May on occasion assemble subassemblies.
* Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production.
* Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area.
* Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.
* Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.
* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.
* Ability to use hand tools.
* Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License.
* All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
* Ability to operate hand tools.
* Ability to read and understand written English.
