until filledDuties and Responsibilities:
  1. Work directly with at risk students in conducting Tier II and Tier III interventions as dictated by the school's MTSS team.
  2. Provide early intervention of students having difficulty mastering standards or skills in core areas.
  3. Assist with the implementation of interventions strategies prescribed by the school's MTSS team.
  4. Work directly with teachers to assist with the assessment of student problems in order to determine academic interventions.
  5. Conducts remedial learning activities, incorporating technology and a variety of instructional methods and materials.
  6. Coordinates with faculty members, especially within grade level regarding reading, writing and mathematics assessments and remedial teaching.
  7. Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the methods of remediation by attending workshops or by conducting research.
  8. Supports the Wilkinson County School District Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan.
  9. Maintain proper professional conduct as defined in the Codes of Ethics.
  10. Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Administrator

Qualifications:
1). High School Diploma or equivalent
2). Passing Scores on the "Work-Keys" or completions of 48 hours of college credits.
3). Ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing.
4). Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading readiness, writing, and/or mathematics.
