ComForCare Home Care Washtenaw-Livingston is looking for caregivers, certified nursing assistants (CNA), direct care workers, medical students, and home health aides to help provide clients with care within their home.

If you are able to assist our entire range of clients, are COVID vaccinated, have at least 3 years of experience, and can work a varying range of shifts, you are the person we are looking for


  • Potential options are full-time and part-time.
  • Clients will be in the Washtenaw County area.
  • We are not a standard 9-5 employer, as this is home care. Schedules are built based on each individual clients' needs. Shifts can range in type and hours. They range from 2-14 hours. Days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and on-call are all potential. This gives you room for flexibility.
  • We trait match when building your schedule. Based on your preferences and personality, we find you clients that you will truly enjoy working with.
  • Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19 (firm) and depends on factors like experience, skillset, and availability. This is base pay and there are also potential incentives for picking up last-minute shifts or travelling to a client.

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Provide conversation and mental engagement.
  • Provide assistance with daily household/personal care management through daily activities to help clients stay independent, and in their own homes.
  • Transportation for clients which includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.
  • Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.
  • Provide companionship for the client. This includes accompanying clients on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Stand by assist to ensure safety for the client.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: 


All listed below are required, and your application will not be considered for this position if you do not meet the requirements.


  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience as an at home caregiver, or in senior communities/facilities with references.
  • A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle. All will be verified.
  • Willingness to go directly to the client’s home.
  • Willing to drive clients to appointments or provide transportation. *Mileage reimbursement rate is $0.55 a mile.
  • Willing to work a mix of shifts that include days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and on-call preferred.
  • COVID vaccinated. *Some clients require this to allow a caregiver into their homes and we have to honor this request. If you are not vaccinated, we have other positions open that are more flexible.
  • Able to assist every client we have, without barriers.
