RESPONSIBILITIES:

Types correspondence including reports, newsletter, requisitions, orders, memos, etc. Works extensively in receiving, welcoming, referring, & communicating with parents, students, community members, & school district personnel. Maintains a regular & confidential filing system. Places & receives telephone calls & maintains a schedule of appointments. Answers switchboard in switchboard operator's absence. Performs bookkeeping tasks & assists in the budget development. Performs other duties as assigned by the principal and/or associate principal. Performs varied related office duties associated with a busy, hectic, productive, & smoothly-run environment.

Physical/Emotional Requirements: (The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.) Speaking, Hearing, Visual, Walking/Mobility, Consistency of temperament, Ability to work with a variety of people at the same time, Stamina for working in stress producing environments. Position may include stooping, kneeling and bending. Ability to sit/stand/move around at will.

This is a 12, 10.5 or 9 month, 8 hour/day position.
